Collection: Light Roast Coffees

Light roast coffees are roasted to a light brown color. This roast is best for coffee beans that are of a higher quality, allowing the natural flavor of the bean to shine through. You may notice a sweetness to light roast coffees with flavors of fruit, grain, or even grass coming through. You will also notice a higher acidity level. There will be no oils on light roast coffees as they have not been roasted long enough or hot enough to release the oils inside the beans. In addition, light roast coffees retain most of their caffeine content. Other names for light roast coffee are Cinnamon Roast, Half City, Light City, and New England Roast.
